Forbes House is Lake County's ONLY domestic violence shelter and 24 hour crisis hotline serving northeast Ohio for 45 years! Our mission is to empower individuals and their families to end the cycle of domestic violence. We have been a safe haven for survivors of domestic violence since 1977. We have been working to end the cycle of abuse helping thousands of survivors recover, reclaim and rebuild their lives through shelter, advocacy, outreach and support.
