Jamie Gyerman is an Associate Director, Optimization at akhia communications, an integrated marketing and PR agency in Hudson, Ohio. With nearly 20 years of experience working for agencies in the Cleveland, Washington D.C. and New York City markets, Jamie has spent the past decade bringing digital strategy and solutions to B2B and B2C brands including: Akron Children’s Hospital, Swagelok, Timken, SOPREMA, Nestlé, MTD, Goodyear, Hallmark, Bendix, Alcoa, GE, the Veteran’s Health Administration, the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury for the Department of Defense, Eucerin, Aquaphor, NIVEA, Barilla and Lavazza. At akhia, she oversees the digital team leading digital strategy, social media, audience segmentation, influencer programs and digital content mapping solutions for clients. Jamie is passionate about transforming business challenges into solutions and opportunities. Her early involvement with digital put her at the forefront of the social movement, producing first-in-kind campaigns for national brands. She’s an energetic leader with a natural ability to rally teams around her pushing them and her clients to new heights. Jamie is a graduate of the University of Dayton and resides in Concord, Ohio.
