QuickBooks for Beginners I

(1) Setting up your Business-identifying methods for navigating QuickBooks and importance of setting preferences
(2) Accounts Payable-vendors, purchase orders, inventories, entering/paying bills, check payments
(3) Accounts Receivable- customers, estimates/sales orders, invoices/statements/credits and receiving payments
(4) Banking-bank accounts, making deposits, bank reconciliation and credit cards.

This is a 'hands-on' class and laptop computers with QuickBooks software installed will be provided for use in this workshop. This class is for those using the desktop versions of QuickBooks for Windows (Pro, Premier and Enterprise), NOT the Online or Mac versions. Please Note: QuickBooks Workshop for Beginners (2) takes place on December 13, 2018, and requires separate registration at a cost of $99 or you can register for both workshops now at a discounted price of $149. (1) How to do: journal entries, adjustments, chart of accounts, items (payroll, price levels, billing rates), taxes, budgets, reminders/to do lists/alerts, administrative tasks, year end procedures.
(2) Employees: time tracking, projects/billing rates, payroll, taxes.
(3) Reporting and Other Communications.
