Lake County Chambers Home & Lifestyle Show
Great Lakes Mall will welcome over 60 local businesses on Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22 when the Lake County Chambers of Commerce hosts the Home & Lifestyle Expo at the mall. Expo hours are 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
Formerly known as Shop Lake County, the new concept and focus promises to provide a weekend of ideas, innovative products and practical advice in remodeling, home improvement, gardening and lifestyle.
Entertainment and education will be provided on the stage located in front of Macy’s. Highlights on Saturday include Jeff Tanchak, Chief Meteorologist for 19 Action News at 11:30am, Sarah Simpson from “All Things Savvy” and Warehouse 292”at 1pm, a 2:30pm Garden Talk and Book Signing with Maria Zampini from HGTV and “UpShoot” and a 3:30pm Fashion Show with models provide by Leadership Lake County. Chef Tim McCoy from the Loretta Paganini School of Cooking will be Sunday at 12:00pm and numerous 15-minute segments of tips and techniques from participating Expo sponsors will be throughout the day.
The first 250 attendees each day will receive a free gift bag distributed at the Lake County Chamber of Commerce booth located at the top of the food court. All attendees over the age of 21 will have the chance to enter the “Spruce up Your Home” raffle drawing to win a $500 Simon Giftcard. Entry cards will be available at all exhibitor booths. The winner will be picked at the end of the Expo and contacted the following day.
